Czech Republic vs North Macedonia prediction

Czech Republic showed all of their offensive potential in a 7:1 victory over Malta last Friday afternoon on neutral ground in Austria.

It was a perfect test match for them, as it was also used to boost their morale, opening up the opponent in the sixth minute already via penalty kick, but showing great class in the continuation to score six further goals.

Defender Zeleny (10/0, Sparta Prague) isn’t playing here, as the Czechs really made coherent team out of their call-ups recently.

Playing away to Croatia was simply too much to handle for North Macedonia, as they suffering a 3:0 loss without showing much of their qualities on the field.

Majer opened them up in the tenth minute already, adding another one in 45th, as Croats showed great lethal class and didn’t enter any problems through the game overall, sealing the victory in 79th minute with a goal from Pasalic.

The guests miss midfielders Bardhi (64/16, Trabzonspor), Babunski (15/0, Mezokovesd), and forward Davi (1/1, Westerlo) compared to previous call-up in March.

Czech Republic is now on a nice run of four consecutive victories and should be way closer to a victory here too, to make a perfect introduction into the EURO tournament.

This match comes with less intensity for the visitors who are simply not at the very same level as opponents anyway – especially not now at this phase of the season for them. The hosts should prevail with ease, no reason to exaggerate with the stakes though.
